WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT DREAMING

“And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.”   – Genesis 37:9

WHAT IS A DREAMER?

A person whose ideas or projects are considered audacious or highly speculative; visionary.

Based on a true story

OUR MESSAGE
Dreams are very important and special. Sometimes God can speak to us through dreams and tell us things that He wants us to hear. Many great ideas can also come to us through dreaming which is why we should always remember to never close our minds to the amazing world that God created for us to live in, we should open up our hearts to believe in things greater than us and perhaps we’ll find what we’ve always been looking for. We should also believe in ourselves and others and have big dreams for our lives, never give up on something that you know can come true or that you have dreamed about, like Dakota Fanning did in her movie (Dreamer: Based on a True Story, the poster is on the left) about a great racing horse. It’s a great movie to watch and we also love Bethany Dillon’s song, Dreamer, which plays at the end of the movie.

Be Inspired to Dream Big when you hear it!

WORDS TO LIVE BY

“Life ends when you stop dreaming, hope ends when you stop believing, love ends when you stop caring, friendship ends when you stop sharing… so share this with whom ever you consider a friend.”  – Selected

“Never stop believing in dreaming, and never stop dreaming of believing. That is what gives us hope, and what keeps us alive.”   – Selected

“Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning.”   – Gloria Steinem

“I feel nothing but the accursed happiness I have dreaded all my life long: the happiness that comes as life goes, the happiness of yielding and dreaming instead of resisting and doing, the sweetness of the fruit that is going rotten.”   – George Bernard Shaw

Follow Your Inner Star

Everyone has in them an inner star or a big dream that they want to do or accomplish. God places that in everyone when they are born. But a lot of times, people don’t fulfill them because of laziness. A lot of people just say “I want to” or “I will in the future,” but really never do it, then when they’re old they’re like “why didn’t I” and “I should have done it.” But then it’s too late.

So if you want to become the leader of your cheer leading team or your soccer team, or you want to become an actress, singer, writer, professor, or even the President, stick to your dreams and believe that you will accomplish them some day. Read books about what you want to be, look up stuff on the internet about what you want to be. If you want to be a cheerleader, soccer player, basketball player, ballerina, dancer, or a gymnast and you are already taking classes, do your best. If you make some mistakes, learn from them and try not to do them again. If your team loses, don’t blame yourself, everyone has to lose sometime, everyone makes mistakes.

So set new dreams and follow them until you reach them. It may take 10 years or even 20 years but stick to it, until you reach them.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.
- Harriet Tubman

I Believe

Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe.”
- Voltaire

The French philosopher, Voltaire was so right. No matter what anyone else tells you, believe in things that you know are right and that I Believeyou believe can come true. Anything can happen, our dad told us the other day that the great thing about being a kid is that its easy to believe in things other people may not see, its easy to dream and imagine other places that are beyond our world.

Believing is so very important, we have faith when we believe. Even when all things go dark, if we have the great power and strength to believe that God is with us and everything will really turn out alright – it will. When things seem as if they are so bad, as if there is no reason to believe, we must have faith to continue to believe. Hope ends when we quit believing, if Jesus had given up all hope on the cross we would have no Prince to come back for us, we would have no salvation and joy to live inside of us. And when we believe in Jesus, he should give us that same faith and that same magic because Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, “Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen.” What we believe in will come true, what we believe of ourselves is what we turn out to be and what we believe others think of us is what we will begin to think.

We must believe in our dreams, our hearts desires and wishes, we can not stop believing in dreams because that is the very thing that keeps us alive. Believing is important.

“Have faith in your dreams and someday your rainbow will come smiling through. No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep believing, the dream that you wish will come true.”
- Dream is a Wish in Your Heart
